The January 2026 sales represent the biggest sustained sales period of the year for UK shoppers. Following on from the Boxing Day sales, retailers continue to offer deep discounts throughout January as they clear seasonal stock.
Fashion retailers often offer the most dramatic reductions, with discounts of up to 70% available at popular high street and online stores. Electricals and furniture are also heavily discounted as retailers make room for new season stock.

January sales usually start on January 1st, though many are extensions of Boxing Day sales that began in late December. Check back in late December for the earliest January 2027 sale announcements.
