1. Who We Are

JanuarySales is a trading name of E-Tara Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 05711631). Our website at www.januarysale.org.uk ("the Site") is a seasonal sales aggregator that brings together promotional offers, sale events and discount codes from UK retailers.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or browsing the Site you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not accept them, you should stop using the Site immediately.

3. What We Provide

The Site aggregates seasonal sale information, promotional offers and discount codes from third-party retailers. We focus on key UK sale periods — including January sales, Black Friday, Easter, summer and autumn events — and present deals to help shoppers find savings.

We are an information service, not a retailer. We do not sell goods or services directly, and any purchase you make is a transaction between you and the retailer concerned.

4. Accuracy of Deals and Codes

We take reasonable steps to keep the deals on the Site current and accurate. However, retailers may change or withdraw offers at any time without notifying us. We therefore cannot guarantee that:

  • A discount code will be accepted at checkout.
  • An advertised offer will still be available when you visit the retailer.
  • Prices, terms or stock levels shown will match those on the retailer's own site.

You should always verify the final price and terms on the retailer's website before completing a purchase.

5. How We Earn Revenue

JanuarySales participates in affiliate marketing programmes. When you click a link on our Site and go on to make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the retailer or affiliate network. This commission is paid by the retailer and does not increase the price you pay. For transparency, we have included an affiliate disclosure in our site footer.

6. Links to Retailer Websites

The Site contains outbound links to third-party retailer websites. Once you leave the Site, the retailer's own terms, privacy policy and practices apply. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the content, products, pricing, availability or practices of any external website.

7. Acceptable Use

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:

  • Use the Site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful.
  • Scrape, crawl or use automated tools to extract data from the Site without our written permission. Our tools for AI assistants (section 8) are the exception: anyone may use them, on these terms.
  • Attempt to interfere with or compromise the security or integrity of the Site.
  • Reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit our content without prior consent.

8. Tools for AI Assistants

Our tools for AI assistants are read only, free and need no account. They return the same sales and dates as the Site, on the same terms, including sections 4 and 5. The assistant you use is run by another company under its own terms, and what it does with our answers, including how it words them, is up to that assistant. We may change, limit or withdraw the tools at any time.

9. Intellectual Property

The text, design, layout and graphics on JanuarySales are owned by E-Tara Ltd and protected by copyright. Retailer names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and appear on the Site for identification only.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, E-Tara Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage — whether direct, indirect, incidental or consequential — arising from your use of, or reliance on, information published on the Site.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify E-Tara Ltd against any claims, costs or expenses arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the Site.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
